Summertime!!

The last day of school is Friday, May 28. Report cards will be mailed out the following week. We have had a very successful year. I will miss you all so much! Be sure to come by and visit me next year when you are in the sixth grade. Have a happy and safe summer!!

Fifth Grade Fild Day

The fifth grade field day will take place Wednesday, May 26. We have lots of fun games planned for you!! Be sure to bring a sack lunch and a cold drink. I have another hint for you: wear clothes that you can get wet!!

Talent Show

The Bowie Elementary School Talent Show will take place on Friday, May 14th at 6:30 pm in the auditorium. Auditions for the talent show will take place after school on Monday, May 4th and Tuesday, May 5th in the auditorium. There will also be a dress rehearsal after school on Wednesday, May 12.

I know that I have a very talented group of students! I would love to see each of you try out. I would be happy to assist you in any way.

Upcoming TAKS Test

April is TAKS test month! The fifth grade TAKS test schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, April 6th Math
Wednesday, April 7th Reading
Thursday, April 29th Science

You have been learning so much in class that I am confident that all of you will do really well on the TAKS tests. Be sure to get a good night's rest and eat a hearty breakfast before the tests!
